ATHENA is a project that aims to help women entrepreneurs who want to start a business.
The 2008–2013 crisis revealed the additional vulnerability of young women, to economic recession in comparison to other groups. The current covid-19 crisis is again threating social inclusion opportunities of European youngsters. A well oriented self-employment could represent a sustainable opportunity for job for many youngsters if European local actors are ready for promoting youth talent and youth entrepreneurship.
“ATHENA” will work on preparing youth workers to be ready for using/organizing innovative initiatives, adapted to this new world, for promoting and supporting youth entrepreneurship, taking into account also the other current main EU challenges as Green Transition (Green Deal), Digitalization and Global Agenda 2030.
Project Results:
- A Best Practice Report about European best practices for promoting women entrepreneurship using digital and online tools
- A Pilot-Action document
- A MOOC for further exploitation of “ATHENA” training programme.
