Young people often see entrepreneurship as a scary and risky endeavour, especially in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs), which suffer from derogatory stereotypes.
Support is especially needed after the Covid-19 pandemic: with a loss of more than 30% in terms of revenues in 2020, CCI is one of the sectors that was hit the hardest in Europe. Entrepreneurial opportunities do exist but are not always accessible or not made visible enough for young people. This shows a clear need to act on the visibility of these opportunities and on the training courses that teach the skills to young people to seize these entrepreneurial opportunities.
The main objective of this project, Escape Rooms for the Cultural and Creative Industries, is to promote youth entrepreneurship in Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) by developing and offering a gamified approach to training to young people and CCI trainers, specifically using Escape Rooms (ERs).
Project Results:
- A guidebook that will offer the necessary background knowledge for youth workers and CCIs stakeholders to effectively leverage ERs to CCI entrepreneurship training.
- 9 Escape Room scenarios for youth workers and educators
- A white paper to ensure that the resources of the project can be adopted in the best possible way.
