POEME – “Project leading to an Exhibition for the incorporation of Migrant children into the European school frameworks”, provides digital tools to equip language teachers, local students and migrants students by taking into account current trends in education.
We aim to help students to:
- acquire second language skills through familiarizing with European culture
- allow the language learning to be done through acknowledging cultural treasures, while using innovative, open source, inclusive digitized methodologies and material;
- learn how to use digital technologies to communicate knowledge, thus also contributing to the modernization of didactic models in language learning and adaptation to distance learning;
The project’s resources are:
- E-Report on the use of e-books and blended exhibitions in education
- 18 Worksheets about cultural heritage in English, French, Greek and Portuguese.
- 10 e-books focusing on 10 monuments, places or local specialities from the partner countries. Each e-book is divided into 3 levels (A1, A2 and B1).
- Interactive e-guidebook for POEME exhibitions, where each section analyses what students are expected to do, some ideas and concrete examples as well as which skills they will train and develop.
- 6 samples of POEME blended learning exhibitions, including the blueprints and guidelines for each.
- The digital or physical (blended learning) exhibitions produced by partner schools.
